Hi all

I have just upgraded my forum from 1.6.3 to 1.6.4 and the upgrading completed but my forum is still 1.6.3 version

I used this download to upgrade:

I saw it in this article:

What can i do to upgrade my forum completely ?

That's not what you need to download if you're upgrading from 1.6.3. What you downloaded is a patch to the original 1.6.4 release which contained some bugs. You need to download it from here:

http://www.mybb.com/downloads

There is a message in bold red text telling you to ignore that blog post if you haven't upgraded yet. You need to use the full package.

@faviouz: I downloaded the link you provide and it seem a full install package not upgrade package. So I have to make a new install for 1.6.4 ? and then i have to reinstall al plugins and templates ? Can I upgrade my forum without reinstall all plugins and templates ?

No, you don't have to make a new install for 1.6.4. You can safely use the full package because all files in 1.6.4 were changed, thus why there wasn't an upgrade package. You will not need to re-install plugins or templates.

It's simply a package that contains every file in MyBB rather than a package that only contains the files that have changed like we usually do, it makes no difference to how you upgrade. It's always possible to upgrade using the full package every time anyway.
