try
mod notice plugin.
compatibility line in the plugin file needs to be changed
open \inc\plugins\modnotice.php file in a code editor (eg. notepad++)
around line 29 find below code
"compatibility" => "14*",
change above to below code , save the file & use it along with other files of the plugin
"compatibility" => "16*",

one question then. When I upload all files (check so I uploaded them correct) I get an error when I try access my forum after installing the plugin. anyone know why?
says this in the read me file:
"Upgrade Instructions from Modnotice 1.1.x (MyBB 1.2) to Modnotice 1.2.x (MyBB 1.4)
Load modnotice_upgrade with an ftp client to your mybb root folder.
Then execute modnotice_upgrade.php via your browser: (example:
http://yourdomain.com/mybbfolder/modnotice_upgrade.php)
If there are nor errors shown then upgrade was succesfull."
what exacly am I supposed to do?
