i want to change my fourm from phpbb to mybb i want to be able to keep all post and members can anyone help me

ok i have add mybb to a diffent SQL sever from my phpbb one i have tried to run the import_phpbb2.php but northing happes can any help me
What do you mean by using 2 MySQL *servers*?
You should have 1 *database* in use for phpBB and 1 *database* for MyBB.
When you've uploaded the converter, and run it, it'll do the rest for you. I've used it a few days ago, and it works like a charm!
If you've uploaded it the right way, and run it, you'll see links at the top of the page, like "users" and "polls" and stuff.
Clicking a link will import that data into MyBB (from phpBB) ...
