Finally got up the nerve to edit the strange code in nav, and low and behold: it worked! Yay!

Now all I need to know is if the renaming won't mess anything up and I can sleep peacefully

HELP PLEASE!

It did NOT work; now ALL links will take members back to the index

I restored my "nav_bit" code back to it's original:

<a href="$navbit[url]">$navbit[name]</a>$sep

And - obviously - the "Overzicht Forums" now takes members to their Portal Page, which is not what we need; it should be index2.php.

Can anybody please tell me what template I should edit, and how? Thanks!

Do I just do what's listed in post #2 and wil that make portal.php the index AND take care of the navigation?

Nope, it's just a re-direct, not what I need ...

It's working with the renamed files, all I really need is to figure out how to get the firt nav_bit ("Overzicht Forums") to point to index2.php and I'm done ..
