I was on another site and they would have you sign everytime you changed the page....
It made me think that what if you guys created MyBB so they recognize IPs you enter, or you check "Remember this IP" in the User CP. So, if they shut down the computer they don't have to re-login. This feature is disabled for you when you log off....

That's what cookies are for ?

and as soon as your ISP changes your IP and some other dude picks it up, then he is suddenly admin....

That is why you can set this feature (via usercp) to be disabled.

There is absolutely no need for this "feature" as cookies already cover this.
