For some reason, setting the default theme doesn't change my ACP theme for me, no matter what I set it to. I checked and the default theme folder is still there, but it won't let me switch it back from Sharepoint. Is there a problem for this, or is there an individual admin setting that I may have changed for myself?

have you checked this : admin panel --> preferences --> Admin Control Panel Theme
