Unfortunately, MEO at Mkportal dropped official support for MyBB - however, if you look around, you can find some people who are keeping it alive.

If you cannot find the links to the UNofficial implementation of MKP and MyBB, post a response and I'll see what I can do.
In fact - it would be REAL NICE if Chris would get in contact with MEO and re-establish the connection between MKP and MyBB.

You can always try to customize MyBB a bit and just use MyBB's nice portal feature as a CMS.
I can create an extension for the
Quate CMS (A CMS I helped create) that would more or less integrate MyBBoard with it. It should be pretty simple.
Edit: What exactly do you have in mind for CMS integration? It's pretty easy to log someone in as an administator in MyBB from another non MyBB script... Or do you mean something more sophisticated than something like that?!

As I recall, there is also a MyBB plugin that allows you to create pages, so extra work is not needed.
but, what about Download modules with user permission and that stuff =)
