I just couldn't find the most suitable place for this -

will a wysiwyg editor be included in mybb 1.2 ??

There isn't a WYSIWYG editor in MyBB 1.2.

It's something we may consider for a future release however.

Please make it optional though. I hate WYSIWYG editors, lol.

I'm fairly certain that any WYSIWYG editor included in a future release will be optional.

To be honest, I'm not hugely fond of them either, but I know a lot of people do seem to like them going on the number of requests we've had.

Well WYSIWYG is good for newbies that does not know how to format properly. I think an optional WYSIWYG would be cool aswell.

The newbies will never learn if they have wysiwyg editors

Just personal bias anyway. I don't even like graphical html editors. A good old text editor is all ya need

Sure they do, most newbies use Word to format there documents.

I program strickly in Notepad++

Most of the time I don't even use formatting tags Except for bold and italics...hmm

all other major bb have it :\

and, it's easier with copy-paste thingies..
like pic and already-rich-edited texts..............

Well, like I said. There may be one in the future, just not in MyBB 1.2.
