Hi,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, my index.php file has been deleted, and replaced with non-mybb material. So it is completely destroyed. However, all the other files (including the database) is safe and sound. Is there a way to recreate my index.php page? Thank You.

I assume that you have myBB installation package on your computer. extract index.php file & upload it

Can't you just re-upload the index.php page?
