I'd like it if I could go into forum permissions and be able to decide on every forum which groups can view all threads, and which groups can only view their own. I know there's a mod for it, but I'm retarded with mySQL, modifications and phpMyAdmin.
yes, and yes and yes, this feature it's deadly needed.

I 100% agree, It's badly needed for a complaints forum.
Post on the ideas site, lets get those "votes". I like the idea too, but I am half opinionated on whether it should be a default feature or not... So a bit, unsure what to say. Maybe, "maybe".
I think this would be better as a plugin, as said before it would be useful for complaints/support forums but all the other fourms wouldn't use this function at all.

2nd I asked alot for someone who can upgrade it.
even I tryed to do it my salf, but there alot of things working mysql, and I'm not very will with it, and I didn't know the defrants (functions, hooks, etc) between mybb 1.1 and mybb 1.2.x.
