My old url expired and I just got a new one today but now my site isn't working. The url just sends me to a godaddy parking page. How do I fix this so that my forum works with my new url?
It takes a while for new domains to propagate. How long since you added it?
Yeah, it could take between 24-48 hours for your new domain to work.
You could try flushing your dns cache.
Open command prompt on your pc and type
C:>ipconfig /flushdns
I see my forum now and the photos and stuff but it's all white. Also where it say login or register it's still showing my old url. Is there anyway to change this?
That means it isn't fully propagated yet...it's going to take a little time.
Did you change your URL in ./inc/settings.php ? The above issue is caused by an incorrect board URL setting.

did not work for me the prompt showed :-
ipconfig /flushdns
No command 'ipconfig' found, did you mean:

What are you using Maybe it works for windows xp and up.
