the usual process i have for spammers is...

1. ban their email.
2. delete their posts.
3. delete their account.

wouldn't it be nice to have a button, right within the forum itself, viewable by administrators, right under their name or avatar that when clicked would say:

"ultimate spam ban, are you for sure?"

and if you click "ok"

1. that person's email is immediately added to the banned list
2. that person's posts are all removed
3. that person's account is deleted

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!
Why will you ban a user email if users can't use the same email twice?

Anyways, this plugin:

Plus this one:

Do almost the same as you asked.

PD: You don't need two threads for this http://community.mybb.com/thread-102601.html

i didn't post twice,

it was the mybb bug, lol
It's not a bug, you just pressed the button twice.
hmmm well this could be caught by mybb
in my oppinion a bug Smile (logical bug)

whatever, banning email is a good way. i allways delete the spam accounts and ban the ip-address + email manually

i assure you i didn't "press" the button twice.

now, electronically speaking, the button may have been pressed in such a way that it sent to pulses, LOL, but that is far from "pressing" it twice.

along those same lines, myBB is the only application i use that does this. i've never had it happen on any other bb forum or other program for that matter.

so semantics aside. it's an issue. it happens frequently. and it's obnoxious.

Big Grin
^Then it is you mouse/browser bug.

That has nothing to do with a mybb bug.
bug was the wrong word.

how about pain-in-the-lime

sorry

I will make this plugin... maybe.
Finished the plugin. Let me know if you have any problems.

The plugin bans the email associated with account as well as delete all posts/user if so choosen via Settings.

Made a thread here until approved by MyBB.
