There are tutorials for a sliding login panel and sidebar, but not for a sliding collapsible category. Could someone post a tutorial for this kind of modification, please?

Only Audentio have managed it I believe. You can get the code with jsnippets though.

I've tried to create my own version in the past, but I've never been able to manage it.

PSBV4 has is. You could try to reverse engineer it

Wb-dev.net has this tut, but where they are down now. :/ Also PSBliss 4 has it.

PS Bliss is using the Audentio code, but we've been asked to remove it as we're currently breaking Audentio's license.
