Just wondering if Microsoft SQL server 2005 could be used instead of mysql server ? With the project I am designing there is a sql server 2005 installation with some of the tables which I require to access allready there.
so far I have exported the tables from sql server 2005 and tried to import them to a mysql server but they appear too large mysql just times out ... so plan be was to find out if mybb is happy using microsoft server and adding mybb's tables there

Ok how would I get around the problem that mysql can not import the rather large databases I need to work with ?
