I have a forum on 1.6.4 and it worked last night. I went to bed, woke up and now I'm getting Error Code 17 can't create/write to /tmp/#sql_60f_0.MYD.

And the query was:
SHOW COLUMNS FROM mybb_users LIKE 'unreadpms'

What's going on?

Looks like this is a server-wide problem as my other forums give the same error. How do I fix this?

Contact your web host. There's nothing we can do.

It's a VPS. They don't provide support for it.


Any suggestions on how to fix it? I have root access.

Try restarting the MySQL service and see if you get any errors. It's also worth checking you lr MySQL error log.
