I was proof reading a private message I had just sent when I discovered an error that I needed to correct. That's when I discovered there was no option to edit my pm.

Is it an add-on, or do I need to modify code?

I would be most grateful for assistance.

MyBB version: 1.6.3
Theme: Swirly Blue

It might be possible, but it's unwanted behaviour imo. You can't edit emails either. Once they're sent, they're sent. So just send another message saying you made a mistake somewhere. And next time be a little more careful.

If I ever make a mistake in a PM, I check to see if they have read it yet. If they didn't, I Cancel the PM via 'Tracking' and resend the corrected version.

Bummer...I would have thought a pm could be edited before it was received.
