Hi all,

I would like to see a mod that would allow users to post recipes in various categories. Right now I'm using forums for it, and it makes it huge.

I'd like to see the following features:

• categories and sub-categories
  
• option to have an admin approve of new recipes
  
• Option for users to add a recipe to their favorites (with limits according to usergroup).
  
• Recipe photos
  
• A ratings system
  

Like I said, I'm using my forums right now, so this is not urgent.

XThreads isn't compatible with a plugin I use and prefer, plus I'm not a programmer. You need to be a programmer to use XThreads properly.

Also, what's the plugin that isn't compatible with XThreads?

My Advertisements isn't compatible, and there is no recipe example there. I'm not gonna risk wrecking my forum just because I want recipe area.

You could probably use the brands directory as a base and work off of it:

There's no danger in trying it, you can easily reverse it...

If you would like what faviouz suggested I can modify it for you and give you all the edits you need to do? And get it working with myadvertisements.
