i am a super noob at mybb and i have searched the forum and found that adsense mods are compatible for only 1.4.x...any mod available for 1.6.4

you can try google adsense plugin AND my advertisements plugin

If you want to convert 1.4.x adsesn plugin simply open its include file and change
"compatibility"		=> "14*"

to 

"compatibility"		=> "16*"
