Since this bug has been reported numerous times, I think it is best that we make this issue a sticky so that hopefully people will read this before reporting it again

Symptoms:

• Forums are deleted when their old category is deleted
  
• The "last post" is a post on a different forum
  
• Moderators inherit privileges in forums that used to be a subforum of the forum they were assigned moderator privileges in.
  

Problem: The parentlists of the forums are not updated correctly when forums are edited in the Admin CP.

Solution:
Upload the fixparentlists.php file to your web server to your MyBB folder. Run it with your web browser every time you change a forum's parent.
