In your opinion, what is the best spam (prevention) plugin for MyBB?
None. I don't run a single anti spam plugin on any of my forums. Manual adjustments work best.
Can you take us step by step of your manual adjustment?
For me, i'm tired of doing it manually. everytime i banned or delete still they spam.
e.g
[email protected] or
[email protected] something like that
Manual adjustments probably block out bots, but, depending on the scope of the adjustment, probably will do nothing against human spammers.
Also note that SFS is known to block a lot of dynamic IPs, which are sometimes used by legitimate users, as well as entire email domains.
I didn't like SFS, Fassim is much more effective.
