Basically I have an old forum and a new forum (both MyBB), and I wish to send a Mass Mail to the old users telling them to join the new forum, but the mass mail isn't sending, it's just saying queued and i selected deliver immediately.
In task manager the Mass Mail task is enabled and everything, help!
It don't send immediately i think you have to wait half an hour for it to send.
That what mine do.
I've been waiting around 24 hours lol...
Did you test it with your email??
Please try the following mail test script:
[Wiki: Help:Mail] (Broken link, head over to docs.mybb.com instead)
If this test says it could not send the mail, or it said it sent but you did not receive any email, even in your spam/trash folder, then the issue lies with your host. If you receive the email from this test, we will investigate the issue further.
Yeah, the mail test script worked, but the email from mass mail still hasn't sent, it's saying queued.
I'm on MyBB 1.6.3 by the way.
Bumps!
Why don't you just update to 1.6.4 anyway?
ACP -> Tools and Maintenance -> Task Manager.
Does the mass mail task have a blue circle next to it? If it does, run the task manually (click on the clock to the right of the task name). Does the mass mail send then? If the circle is gray then you will need to enable the Mass Mail task and make it run automatically (by default it runs every fifteen minutes).
