I wouldn't want it. If you get in a crash with it you're going to die.

Also does it have a manual or automatic transmission?

Yes surely it is, I guess Suknanjan is talking about Nano from Tata Industries, I'd like to say that NOT A SINGLE BOT OR NUT is used in it and its appearance as well as its driving is very comfortable for family.

Its specially built for middle class, 2,200$ are very well worth it. Also, its four sitter.

My car was Maruti Suzuki 800, bought back in 2003, for 4700$, it is also very good.

Here is the pic of the car Suknanjan talking about:

Google, Tata Nano if you want to see more pics.

A value for money car and its now quite popular in India.

Do you know anyone with one? :p
Yup there are 5-10 just in my locality. Many people buying those as a secondary vehicle as well as people who can't afford a car. The car is actually quite good, if you take a quick look at the interiors and the exteriors you can't tell its a $2000 car. And its also a cute looking car. Smile

Is it made well though? If i win the next lottery, i wouldn't mind importing it :p.

No need to import, US version coming soon. Smile

Oh boy. How the hell do you change tires? Rims? Anything? Or do you just buy a new car?
For those of you saying that you'll die in a crash

Safety was not compromised as the impact and roll-over protection is comparable to the GT racing cars.

LOL.
I guess if your top speed is ~70mph it's not that bad.
For a city, (Toronto) It wouldn't be all bad. Take it on the 401, your f'd
This thing is awesome. Certainly nicer looking than a Smart Car, good price, very efficient. Probably not that safe in a crash but neither are motorcycles and people drive those all the time.
