On the admin Users & Groups pages, the option to enable a group to be able to search forums is shown under the Viewing Options. On the admin Forums & Posts page under Set Custom Permissions, the option to enable the group to search the forum is shown under the Misc. tab instead of the Viewing. tab. For consistency, it seems it should be moved to the viewing tab.
