Is there a way to restrict users from seeing source code, your forum , css and javascript ?

It's not possible, period. That's just how modern web browsers work. You can't stop it.
no, it is not easy to copy as your site mainly has php files AND others see html equivalent code
AND if you stop showing the css then others cannot easily suggest required modifications !!

Because otherwise the page wouldn't load at all as the browsers have to be able to read it...

The downsides to it don't even matter.
It's not possible to stop users from viewing the source code, nor from copying the content on your website. Browsers need the source code.
Well, you could encrypt everything, but it'd run slower.
It could probably be decrypted though. And I'm pretty sure search engines will not like it.
