I have admin activation setup and I want an email to be dispatched to users once I activate them.

I have found plugins to do this but none of them send the email upon activation.

Thoughts?

if mails from your forum reach the users then admin activate email should be working .
have you tested it by adding yourself with a different mail ID & activating ..
