I want my forum directory to be / instead of /forums/

How can I do that?

first close the board from admin panel --> configuration --> settings --> Board Online / Offline

change the Board Url at admin panel --> configuration --> settings --> General Configuration

set correct Cookie Path at the above page (see here)

AND move files from /forums to upper level directory (public_html)

turn on the board from admin panel
