What is the difference between them? I am already using Enable search engine friendly URLs in mybb settings for shorten my url. So Do I really need to use Google SEO 1.6.1 Mods?
mybb default SEF URLs are enabled on this community. you can see that showthread.php ,
forumdisplay.php etc.. are eliminated in the URLs. in general, the thread Ids, forum IDs are
used in the internal SEF URLs
with Google SEO, you can get the forum name, thread subject ..etc. in the URLs. it is
supposed to be more useful in Search Engine Optimization than the internal SEF URLs ..
So, Can I use both of them or I have to disable Mybb SEO for using the Google SEO?
You can only use one, obviously. It wouldn't make sense using both, nor would it work.
Than I want to disable Mybb SEO . For disabling it do I have to redo the steps what I did changed?
changing .htaccess to htaccess.txt
and Changing the configuration options back from Enabled to Automatic Detect ?
