Should send them a ddos attack and let them know how it feels.
besides you just provided them a handy backlink - change it to www.forum-bot(dot)com we will all know what you mean.
For those suffering this kind of bot garbage hitting your forum you can set up a simple to use honeypot at http://projecthoneypot.org this should help you from the scrapers, grabbers and most spam.
Also set up a denial of URL links to guests by looking for the limit links in post plugin.
Next you need to attach to you htaccess a denial of Country IP. Now for the most of us it is Russia and Ukraine that are the big players. I have the current list of IP's you should deny at root. Just follow the instructions in my next reply just rebuilding the page.
Here it is: http://articlechase.com/htaccess-How-to-...ddress.php
You will need to stop the scrip when it asks - just a stupid issue with the htaccess code and the page script.

Someone needs to get that site down.

The only difference I see is between the CAPTCHA used by the software. In 1.6.5, not only are we making changes to hopefully prevent spam, but we're also making it stupidly easy to tag, identify and remove it too.

That's why there is a lot of spamming on mybb. I think mybb 2.0 should have to tackle with this kind of stuff .
I've not seen phpbb and vbulletin in its list :p

2.0 should have a spam sniper. Through a standard TCIP port, it will get a gun, and shoot spammers in the foot.
