Probably not a real problem for most boards, but at my board we ban more by IP than by account (guestposting) Right now it's a pain to delete bans.
Purging banned IPs would be great (by date of ban, and last access)

You mean PRUNE because a purge would empty vs a prune which would trim..
But anyways a plugin would best for this.
