Everytime I edit settings in the AdminCP, my members are saying that nothing is getting fixed. What's wrong? Did I forget to install some files or something?

Well, I turned off the flood control...but my members are still getting the message. I changed the size of avatars and my members have said that it hasn't been changed. That's about it.

What happens if you try to change the name of your board?

That doesn't work either.

Do you change those settings via the ACP or settings.php?

Can you ensure that inc/settings.php is writable by the web server (CHMODed 666 or 777)

I've had troubles with it not working as well when I chmodded to 666, whenever I switched it over to 777 it worked fine.
