For some reason when I look at a thread there is always a horizontal scrollbar.

When in site home page there is no scrollbar required.

How do I remove horizontal scrollbar from threads/posts?

What theme are you using, and is it being caused by your resolution?

The theme is called iv_Geo I think.

I am not sure what is causing the problem but it has been happening to me and couple others as well.

It's fine for me, I suspect AddThis is the cause.

I also removed AddThis and it was still there. Also Addthis is on every page even in homepage so that means that is not the problem.

Still fine for me. I'm guessing you are experiencing this with Firefox?

oh yes. The person that this happened to was also with firefox.

I just tried with IE and it does not happen...

So it is firefox's fault not anything to be done in site?

Firefox zooms in further than other browsers. You can try adjusting the forums width and text size.

No zooming is not the problem. I zoomed out as far as possible and the scrollbar was still there.
