Is there a plugin or way to restrict signatures for a certain group?

I've tried that but the signature shows up fine in the profile.

You can block the edition of signatures to certain groups using this plugin:

Thanks Ranjani on the signature control. Tomm that would be nice to see many more options for control added to admin. Many spamvertisers use their signatures now to post their spamware links. This has been a very longtime problem so the signature by groups as well as individual signature options makes a nice difference.
