Hi,

Depsite recaptcha upon registration we still get 100+ spam posts a day. I have enabled the StopForumSpam settings too. I was wondering if there is a way to add a captcha for thread creation? Or anything else that will help stop spam.

You could try admin activation.

AS far as I know that is not a feature. It could be possible by a plugin.

Please search the forums. There are numerous threads regarding spam and related plugins.

MyBB 1.6.5 is packed with anti-spam tools, but there are many plugins available until then.

These should help stop most spammers during registration. But for those who get it in, you can also use these:

Those last two are, in my opinion, the best protection you can take against spammers. Why? Spammers usually register with the goal to spam your forum with links to their client's websites. By stopping them from using links in signatures, profiles and posts, they will probably leave and never come back. Who cares about a few nonsense posts, it's free content. At least I know they failed their mission!

This is the best plugin, I also faced the spammers, after this plugin, Not even a single spammer
