mybb1.64 install fresh and clean. Al chmodding done as specified on right files or folders.

The first issue is that the message editing mycode options do not show in the message as in the picture below.

Cannot edit message with formatting option they aren't showing up.


In the admin options the second issue is this is what forum permissions look like. No way to drag them across as in the past. Are these related settings or chmod file issues I need to change. It's probably some easy fix I am missing, thanks for any help

You know, when they mentioned javascript, I just remembered it was my "NOSCRIPT" blocker in FF that was the culprit. I checked the template and that was clean. My bad, but your post PJGIH reminded me to check the script blocker against the new domain which is of course my bad. A good lesson for those who may have setup a new domain with their forums as was my case.
