- Download a decent theme. There are many free themes to choose from here.~ http://mods.mybb.com/themes
- Get some content going.
- Advertise. Advertising will get some people to join your forum. Though the trick is to have unique features on your forum.

yes many nice theme ther ( but i know it is the default theme but i love the clean layout and the blue colers) wish that it not whas the default theme)

lol. Most of us love default MyBB theme. That's why we are active in community.mybb.com.

But yeah! To make the forum look unique, you (OP) should use some other theme, that is not used much, or get a premium or custom theme.

And Try to improve content, because, there is currently none.

I have never been a fan of the default theme on a forum, but if you are dead set on it, go for it. As long as you stick with it, the user base will come eventually. Good luck with it!
