Just came across jQuery UI today and I think its really awesome and would be a great feature for 2.0

jQuery UI is a separate library that enables custom form controls and other handy features.
jQuery will be used by default in 2.0, so (unless the MyBB team decides to add it) you will only need to download it, and add a single line to however they do their headers. I honestly don't see a purpose for them adding it in though, since they are making a whole new theme for 2.0
I agree with this. Also @Andro jQuery isn't included in MyBB, Prototype is. You can use jQuery with it though. but it's not included/supported by MyBB.
I'm not a fan of jQuery UI, it shouldn't be used in production-level software.

Incorrect. This is the 2.0 suggestion forum. jQuery is used anf confirmed in 2.0. But in 1.6 you are correct. Instead, in 1.6 prototype is used but not supported by mybb.
He was saying that it is already included in MyBB 1.6, so you'll definately get it in 2.0 (at least that's what it seemed like he said).
