no email is being received by new users and php test does send me an email .. what should i do .. i am in a big fix as we need the forum to work asap and i don't want auto activation to be in place .. please suggest what i can do ..
if anyone can mail me the same would be great as well

Use SMTP mail instead of php mail.

Have tried configuring gmail as smtp as well same problem .. Andy other suggestions mate and what all info I need to put I gave my gmail I'd, password, my smtp adres, port, ssl security still the same .. Any other suggestions or can u try if I give u my admin I'd and password
