I guess it would help big time if we could get our forums to stand out more, which makes favicons come to mind.

How do you create favicons fast, any online free service? Or maybe you can select from existing favicons?

How do you configure the favicon for the forum?

What I mean by favicon is the image thats on the adress bar to the left of the forum url at the top.

You just need to create a 16x16 image, and rename it to favicon.ico

Don't bother using an online service, all that does it renames the image.

So I upload this favicon.ico to the images folder?

Also will the favicon work in firefox browser as well?

No, you put it in your forum root. (Where index.php is located)
And yes, it will work on any modern browser.
