ok so i read this tut http://community.mybb.com/thread-43811.html and im on the note pad part. I Changed and replaced everything it says. Now how do i save it. or what do i do next?

Yes you must save the changed files and re-upload them to where MyBB is located at and replace the files changed.

yea i save it but then how do i put that into a file or somthing

^ have you downloaded the files from your web server AND modified them ? if so save & re-upload to web server
that is , after modifying the files, you have to replace the original files on the server (keep copies of original files)
