If you know exactly where all your mods are you can reapply them to the new theme.

I didn't mention this last time but what is going on with your typing? Every word starts with a capital letter apart from the odd word every now and then.
It's nothing to complain about, but I just wondered why you do it...

You could set up a duplicate website and see how your mods would respond to a new theme. If your mods work well with the theme you can put the theme onto the first forum without worrying. If not then you will have to make the modifications again so they will. Once you get the 2nd forum working just how you want it, copy the 2nd forum over the 1st. Therefor your users will never experience your forum without your mods.
