Hi,

I have a public forum and I want to keep it public where people can become members without the need for admin approval.

However I want one of the forum categories to be for secret members only the admin of the forum approves after they join.

So I want a category or forum with different activation settings and I want these areas to be accessible by these secret members only.

I want a forum with 5 secret sub-forums under the main forum.

Is there a way to perhaps give special access to existing members to this area of the forum? So only selected members can view these forum areas???

This is by default only. Configure those permissions in Forums & Posts tab, and select the required forums and configure settings from permissions tab for various usergroups.
