Looking forward to this. I actually run a weather forum and have been waiting for something like this to come along. At this moment i have it so if you click a users location ( postbit author user ) it will take you to their local forecast via wunderground. What i would like to do is to make it so that each users local obs shows up in postbit_author_user. I am guessing the next release will have that ability?

Yes next release will have this functionality
Great plugin but your website link that is displayed inside the plugin as well is the link in the download area to your website..... is a pornographic website. Maybe you lost your domain name by accident or whatever case may be but that means anybody running this plugin and possibly your other plugins that may have your website link are subject to linking to porn on their forum or site.
I just figured I'd warn other user just in case they decide to download it.
