Im converting from phpbb3 to mybb and have transfered everything but polls (well half of them)

MyBB Merge System - Version: 1.6.2
 Polls1,000 polls are importing right now. There are 7,395 polls left to import and 8 pages left.

Is there a way to reduce the number to 200 even though ive started?

Yes, but its dangerous in and of itself and is not recommended. First I need to know why you wish to shrink it. Your title says they're stuck, well, changing how many per wont "unstick it".

Well in the past when I've converted if I put a lower amount of posts to convert it usually prevents that from happening. But this was just a test conversion anyway and for the most part it went well aside from that snag.

Encountering a "Timeout" from doing too many at once isn't the same as it being "stuck". Stuck is where it tries to refresh to continue on, but for whatever reason it never does continue... it stays with the same data set refreshing every 5 seconds or so.
