That topic doesn't even have to do with what he is asking.
To transfer the MyBB forums from one host to another, you will need to copy all of the files over to your computer thats on the old host. Then you will need to go into phpmyadmin and make a backup file of all of the database that MyBB is using. Once you have done that, copy over the files from your computer to the new host. Upload the file downloaded from phpmyadmin and put it into the new host's phpmyadmin.
If you are using a different domain name as well:
You'll need to fix some issues in the settings, cookies, and other areas of the new host's MyBB AdminCP in order to fit it to the new host however.
