BTW, now it says Powered by MyBB 1.2.

You should be able to see yourself whenever the file (functions.php) doesn't get overwrited.

I did a manual upgrade.

Seems to be a sloppy update.

I did think it was. At least it showed in "inc" for me when I built the archive using BetterZip (Mac OS X archive application). Seems it wasn't. Fixed.
