I don't think anyone here is willing to write such a query. Its just too complex. By now you probably could have finished merging them all via your ACP just doing a few here and there.

Honestly I was thinking about this on my way from work honestly
. And, it's as you said to do it with a query only would be insane and probably cause more problems than it would solve 
.So either doing it through the Admin CP or finding someone to write a custom php script is the only way I can think of.
