One of my users came across a problem that I was able to replicate by posting the equivalent of what is below.
It doesn't seem to be happening here though. I am using MyBB v1.6.4
What happens is the post shows up but with no content.

Are you saying there's an error on MyBB's community forum? Or are you trying to prove there's an error or what? Because my quote of your post is definitely working fine. Looks like you didn't close any of those quote tags so they aren't actually quoting anything, and therefore the BBCode doesn't trigger.
Its not causing a problem here but I don't know what version is being used here. On my forum all I need to do is paste the following into a post and it fails.

I believe the proper format is

You don't understand. I know that the BB Code is malformed but the post content should still appear on the forum despite the faulty syntax.
I have tested a few different scenarios.
This causes the all the post content to be hidden.

The moment I shorten the pid, take out dateline, the quote user or pid the post content suddenly appears.

Somehow the length of the parameters within the quote tag are having an effect.
Just checked it, and it seems to ignore the post when pid is greater than or equal to 100. That is, pid works only upto 99.
