The .htaccess provided by MyBB ONLY changes the URL in the way I don't want them to be.

I don't know what you'd want that Google SEO doesn't offer really.

No, you're taking wrong. Google SEO changes it like /forumname and /threadname, for example,

http://ubers.org/Forum-Website-Construction-Development (forum name)
http://www.ubers.org/Thread-MyBB-Plugin-...orum-staff (thread name)

Just install Google seo, replace the functions file.

Then when you'd activate it in plugin area, it'd show you the rules to be added to .htaccess, add them just there and save it, configure google seo options and turn on necessary options and it should work fine.

I got it, thanks! It never was showing me the htaccess changes within the plugin page before, now it did. Thanks guys .

The only problem I have is:

When I select a forum section (threads works fine). htaccess seems fine as well, google seo provides no errors. Trying to figure out what the issue is.
