plz any one help me... as in my forum i am activating the users as admin activation... but i need it to activate the users as...

in registration there must be no password option at the place of registering..... there must be email activation by sending some generated password.... it must be like myybbsource registration processes......

plz anyone help me as i am verymuch thankful to them.......

ACP>Configuration>Settings>Registration and Profile Settings>Registration Method>Send Random Password

ya i had done like that but after registration no email is coming to the mail id

Have you tested the server your forum is on to determine that the method you chose for email (PHP mail or SMTP) works on that server?
