So I am basically at my work, we have a label printer which the POS software is configured to print labels to via COM1, as the label printer is plugged into COM1 on the main computer. Now my boss wanted to try share the printer between the other computers on the network so they could print labels from anywhere. I successfully shared the printer and added it to the other computer, but since the printer is not on COM1 on the network computers, I can't print labels to it, which is where my question comes in. Is it possible to make a virtual COM port, and forward all data sent to that port so the network printer?
